whats love got to do with it? Part 2
No really seriously, so you get we wear out love alot. How do we fix it ? Stop loving worldly things more than God. Be thankful for worldly things .Why waste time being obsessed with something that pulls you away from God. Pray, etc be in a relationship with God . 1Timothy 6:10 SAYS for the LOVE of money is a root of all kinds of evil for which some have strayed from their faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Not saying money is evil or things eitheir BUT don't LOVE them. because whats love got to do with worldly things nothing you don't love them cause love is not within worldly desires but within God BECAUSE GOD IS LOVE.

Hey Sara I found you! It's me Sammi. Alright so I read part one and part two, and you are so right on! None of us know what love is but we wear the word out left and right. It doesn't even have that pretty sound anymore. Really we can only say that we truly love our family and God. Love is something that comes when it's meant to come so it isn't wise to waste it on a fling, or a teenage relationship, because no matter how many times you say you're going to be together forever; it too often doesn't end up that way.
Love is a verb - it requires action. The cool part is that if we do act on its behalf, those "warm fuzzy" feelings are often felt. 1 Cor. 13 (the "Love Chapter") shows that love finds its roots in "doing", not feeling. However, today we "feel" so we think we love. 1 John 4:19 says that we love Him (and by that logic, others as well since one cannot love God and hate his brother, as seen in verses 20-21) because HE (GOD) first loved us! Crazy! He didn't say "I love you"... He SHOWED "I Love you" by being unselfish and dying for others (so they could Live). Today most love is grounded in self-needs/wants (need/want to feel important, need/want to be touched, need/want attention, etc.) not doing love with others in mind. Good word, Sara... keep it up!
